The film delves into Tarla's middle-class life, where her parents wanted her to get married, but eventually, she fights for her dreams.

Saand Ki Aankh

Cast: Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, Prakash Jha, Vineet Kumar Singh, Pawan Chopra

This drama film highlights the lives of sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar from Bagpat district, Uttar Pradesh. While residing in a patriarchal society, Chandro and Prakashi, in their 60s, accidentally find out that they possess an interesting talent for gun shooting. An instructor then helps them participate in various competitions. While Bhumi plays Chandro, Taapsee plays Prakashi.

This film is based on the life of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, who is a British-Pakistani terrorist. He became a member of the Islamist jihadist group in the 1990s. Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh was arrested for plotting the murder of Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002.
