Dileesh Pothan, who made a mark with his three standout directorial ventures, has also established himself as a bankable actor in Malayalam cinema. The Joji director, who made his acting debut in a minor role in Salt N' Pepper, went on to act in several movies over the last decade. He was seen in a lead role in the latest Malayalam film Am Ah. Am Ah 

Dileesh Pothan appeared in the lead role in this suspense drama, which takes us to a remote village in Kerala. Stephen arrives in the hillside hamlet as a supervisor for road construction but is curious about the village folks, especially a woman and her granddaughter. Devadarshini plays the other lead roles in Thomas K Sebastian's film along with Jaffer Idukki, Sruthy Jayan, Meera Vasudev and others.

Malik

Dileesh Pothan, who has collaborated with Fahadh Faasil for all three of his directorials, acted together in this Mahesh Narayanan film. While Fahadh Faasil was seen as Alikka, the leader of his people in his Kerala coastal village, Dileesh was seen as Aboobacker, who becomes a political leader. The gritty political thriller film has several other notable names including Vinay Forrt, Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, and Indrans.

Trance

Another Malayalam film that is noted for Fahadh Faasil's nuanced performance as motivational speaker Viju who transforms into Joshua as he becomes a part of a religious scam. Thalavan

Mammootty leads all the action in Turbo as jeep driver Jose from Idukki who leaves for Chennai after he gets into trouble while trying to help his friends. Vysakh has directed this 2024 Malayalam movie, based on Midhun Manuel Thomas's script. Dileesh Pothan appears as businessman Andrew in this film, which features Raj B. Shetty in a key role.
