Bollywood star Ranveer Singh's highly anticipated Dhurandhar: The Revenge teaser just dropped online, but has left many fans disappointed as the short glimpse featured climax scenes from Dhurandhar. Where to watch Dhurandhar-like movies
The gory Kill was not anything that fans would be expecting from a Hindi movie, backed by Karan Johar. The film follows NSG commandos Amrit and Viresh, who embark on a train journey. But what was to be a short journey soon becomes a bloody fight for survival as the train gets hijacked by dacoits. Actors Lakshya Lalwani and Raghav Juyal joined forces for the action thriller film, before their more buddy stint in the Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Nikhil Nagesh Bhat penned and directed the film, which critics termed as sheer bloodfest.

Telugu actor Prabhas may not have impressed fans with his latest film The Raja Saab, a horror comedy. But he was quite the brute force in the 2023 Telugu action thriller Salaar, winning over his fans. Prabhas played Deva, who would go to any extent for his childhood friend Varadha, the prince of Khansaar. When Varadha’s position is under threat, he reaches out to Deva who unleashes mayhem. Filmmaker Prashanth Neel helmed Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, which would also get a sequel. Malayalam actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran plays Varadha.
Another Prashanth Neel film, but this time in Kannada and featuring Rocking star Yash in the lead role. Set during the 1970s, the action-packed film follows gangster Rocky who is tasked with assassinating a notorious gold mine owner. Considered as a game-changer as far as action films are considered in Indian cinema, the 2018 film KGF grabbed attention outside the Kannada film industry and was followed by a sequel.
Billed as the most violent Malayalam film ever. Actor Unni Mukundan powered his way through this action-packed film in the titular role of Marco, who seeks revenge after his foster brother Victor is killed. The sheer strength displayed on the screen and the violence rained down even on children and women would unsettle most viewers. Haneef Adeni directed the film, which featured Chatha Pacha actor Ishan Shoukath as Victor.
Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan is in charge of this action-packed film, which follows a special agent’s attempts to take down a drug cartel. Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil are the other big names in this Lokesh Kanagaraj film. But Tamil star Suriya stole the show with his cameo as the ruthless Rolex. The film is a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
