Before Thudarum, Shobana was seen in Varane Avashyamund along with Kalyani Priyadarshan and Dulquer Salmaan, who has also produced the film. Anoop Sathyan’s directorial debut revolves around Neena, her daughter and their interactions with several other residents of their apartment complex. Dulquer Salmaan played Bibeesh P, known as Fraud.
Dulquer Salmaan’s charismatic performance as the enigmatic Charlie fetched him the Best Actor award at the Kerala State Film Awards. Parvathy Thiruvothu plays Tessa, a free-spirited woman who comes across a sketchbook in her rented apartment and seeks to find the previous tenant. Aparna Gopinath, Nedumudi Venu, Chemban Vinod Jose and Kalpana appear in other supporting roles.

But after coming to know that the suspect was indeed innocent, Aravind strives to find the real culprit. Manoj K. A romantic comedy film, 100 days of Love stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen who play Balan K Nair and Sheela. Balan and Sheela, who were schoolmates, meets years later in Bangalore. Balan falls for Sheela, but soon realises that she is engaged to someone else. Sekhar Menon, Aju Varghese, Vineeth and Praveena are also part of the film.
Bejoy Nambiar’s anthology film with four stories. Dulquer Salmaan plays the lead in all four stories with his characters named Shekhar, Trilok, Siva and Rudra. Dhansika, Ann Augustine, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, and Manoj K. Jayan appear in various segments of the film. The experimental film was released in Malayalam and Tamil in 2017.
