Gangers director Sundar C’s 5 best Tamil films to stream right now

Actor and filmmaker Sundar C whose latest film Gangers is currently running in theatres, is known for his commercial potboilers which give guaranteed success. Aranmanai 

Aranmanai is a 2014 Tamil commercial horror film with ensemble cast which incluses Hansika Motwani, Vinay Rai, Andrea Jeremiah, Raai Laxmi, Santhanam, Kovai Sarala, Manobala, Chitra Lakshmanan and Nithin Sathya. A departure of sorts for Sundar C, Anbe Sivam is a 2003 drama film starring Kamal Haasan who also wrote the script. Anbe Sivam is about two men who come from poles opposite background and are to take an unexpected journey together. Starring Madhavan, Kiran Rathod, Nassar, Santhana Bharathi, Seema and Uma Riyaz Khan among others, the explores the themes of capitalism, socialism, atheism, communism, and globalisation.

Winner 

Winner is a 2003 film featuring Prashanth, Kiran Rathod, Vadivelu, MN Nambiar, Riyaz Khan. The romantic actioner is about a man who goes back to the village where his estranged grand parents live as farmers. One of the standout features of the film is Vadivelu’s character Kaipulla, a cowardice who portrays himself very strong against the local macho man Kattadurai.
