Holi is by far one of the most awaited festivals of the country, where the nation revels in an array of bright colours to celebrate. After the hustle and bustle of the celebrations, there’s nothing like taking the weekend to unwind and wallow in the aftermath of it all by binge watching some interesting titles. Shimmy

Starring Pratik Gandhi in the lead, Shimmy follows the story of the relationship between a father and his teenage daughter. But their life is anything but easy, and the duo have to navigate the ups and downs of their lives as best as possible, together. Pratik stars as the father, Amol, while Chahat Tewani essays the role of his daughter. The short film is directed by Disha Rindani and has received numerous nominations at the Critics Choice Awards.

Uljhe Hue

This short film revolves around the story of Rasika, an introverted artist, and Varun, a lawyer. After the two unexpectedly meet when the former returns from a date where she got stood up, sparks start to fly. The film follows the two as they try to establish a romantic relationship, although the journey to the same is not without its obstacles. Sanjana Sanghi stars as Rasika, while Abhay Verma essays the role of Varun. Satish Raj has helmed the romantic short film.

Kaali Peeli Tales

Kaali Peeli Tales is an anthology series consisting of six short stories based on the lives of people in Mumbai. The series follows the stories of how normal people in the city go about navigating their lives and relationships, focussing on the love, loss and bittersweet moments that are inherent in them. Each of the stories also feature moments that take place in black and yellow cabs, hence the title. The series stars Vinay Pathak, Gauahar Khan, Soni Razdan, Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, Sharib Hashmi and Hussain Dalal.

This Dice Media web series revolves around the story of Aadhya Mathur and Samvidhan Sharma, two students who find themselves existing in the shadows of their much more popular best friends. The two start to fall for each other, after catching each other’s eye in some unusual situations, and start falling for each other. For the first time, they do not feel as if they are ‘sidekicks’ while in each other's company, and the series follows the two and their relationship. It stars Rudraksh Jaiswal, Aadhya Anand, Urvi Singh, Naman Jain, Arjun Deswal, and Anupriya Caroli.

Yatri Kripya Dhyaan De

Starring Shaheer Sheikh and Shweta Basu Prasad, Yatri Kripya Dhyaan De, is a short film directed by Abhinav Sen. It revolves around the story of a man named Sumit (Sheikh) who decides to help out a woman named Nandita, after the latter has car trouble. The two start conversing, and Sumit talks about a time a girl had died on his property. Their conversation takes a strange turn as Nandita makes some jarring remarks in response.
