Pani  

Joju George made a confident directorial debut with Pani in 2024. He also starred as Giri, who seeks revenge after two criminal youngsters disrupt his peaceful married life. Sagar Surya and Junaiz VP play the two youngsters in this film, along with Abhinaya in a key role. Seema, Prashanth Alexander, Sujith Shankar, and Chandini Sreedharan are also part of the cast.

Thuramukham

Noted filmmaker Rajeev Ravi's Thuramukham takes us back to the Mattancherry harbour during the mid-20th century, showcasing the ruthless 'Chappa' system that was in practice for allocating work to labourers. Nivin Pauly plays Mattancherry Moidu, while Arjun Ashokan is seen as his brother Hamza. Joju George plays their father Mymoo, and leaves an impression with his gritty performance. Manikandan R Achari, Nimisha Sajayan, Poornima Indrajith, Darshana Rajendran and Sudev Nair are also part of the cast.

Malik

Another gritty Malayalam film, which has the Fahadh Faasil stamp all over it. Fahadh plays Alikka in the film, which tracks his rise to power in his coastal village in Thiruvananthapuram. Antony

Veteran Joshiy's 2023 action-packed film had Joju George in the titular role of gangster Antony. After he causes the death of goon Xavier, Antony seeks to protect Xavier's daughter, Ann. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the other key character of Ann Maria in this film, which also features Chemban Vinod Jose, Nyla Usha, Asha Sharath, and Vijayaraghavan in other supporting roles.

An anthology film, Freedom Fight had five directors joining hands to tell touching tales. Joju George played the main character in the segment, named Old Age Home, directed by the acclaimed Jeo Baby. Joju brings his most nuanced and touching portrayal in this film, that follows a retired man struggling with dementia and his caretaker.
