Jude Law's The New Pope to Nicolas Cage’s Bad Lieutenant: Films and series to watch on Lionsgate Play this February 2025

Lionsgate Play is all set to bring an interesting line-up of films and series which are all releasing on the same day, February 28, 2025. These films and series boast not only captivating storylines, but also impressive performances of actors such as Jude Law, Nicolas Cage, and several others. The New Pope

This 2020 English series is the follow-up of the 2016 series The Young Pope, which was also led by Jude Law. Both the series are created and directed by Paolo Sorrentino. The New Pope picks up where The Young Pope left off, with Pope Pius XIII in a coma and the Holy See looking for a replacement. While Jude Law reprised his role as Pope Pius XIII, John Malkovich appeared as the fictional Pope John Paul III in The New Pope series.
