Lubber Pandhu – Theatres (Sept 20)

Lubber Pandhu is a family drama with cricket playing a major role. The film stars actors Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh in the lead roles. The film is directed by filmmaker Tamizharasan Pachamuthu in his directorial debut. It also features actors Swaswika and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy as the female leads.

Kadaisi Ulaga Por – Theatres (Sept 20)

Kadaisi Ulaga Por is a dystopian war drama headlined by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi, who has also directed, scored and produced the film. It features a star ensemble, including Nassar, Nataraj, Anagha, N. Alagan Perumal, Harish Uthaman, Munishkanth, Singampuli, Kalyan Master, Elango Kumaravel, Thalaivasal Vijay, Mahanadi Shankar, Elango Kumanan, Shiva Shara RA, Vinoth GD, Guhan Prakash, Alex, Rocket Rajesh, Chu Khoy Sheng and others.

Sattam En Kayil – Theatres (Sept 20)

Sattam En Kayil is a crime thriller film headlined by actor Sathish. The film is directed by Chachhi, who previously directed Sixer. Apart from Sathish, the film also stars Vidya Pradeep, Ajay Raj, Pavel Navageethan, Riythvika, and Venba in important roles.

Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam – Prime Video (Sept 20)

The comedy web series stars stand-up comic Abhishek Kumar along with Devadarshini, Niyathi and Chetan Kadambi in pivotal roles. It revolves around a young man being posted as panchayat secretary at a remote village as he unwillingly takes up the job. The series appears to be a remake of Hindi series Panchayat which is also streaming on Prime Video.

Goli Soda Rising – Disney+ Hotstar (ongoing)

Goli Soda - The Rising is spiritually the next instalment from filmmaker Vijay Milton’s Goli Soda movie series. Goli Soda (2014) and Goli Soda 2 (2018) revolve around a group of four boys, who live in a market and meet their livelihood requirements. The series now features the grown-up boys who run an eatery in the market and wants to make it big by opening another outlet. It features a star ensemble cast, including actors Shaam, Abirami, Pugazh, Ramya Nambeesan, Avanthika Mishra, Cheran, R K Vijay Murugan, Bharath Sreeni, Kishore, Pandi, Udhaya Raj, Murugesh, Kutty Mani, Ammu Abhirami, Seetha, Swetha, Sujatha, Imman Annachi, John Mahendran and Madhusudhanan Rao, among others.

Uppu Puli Kaaram – Disney+ Hotstar (ongoing)

Uppu Puli Kaaram is an ongoing series which revolves around an elderly couple living with their four grown up children. However, their lives take a turn when the father’s son from another mother comes to live with the family, creating a battle of drama and confusion. With the couple having their own secret about their new son, and the latter being a famous actor, the series is a family drama.

Vera Maari Office S2- Aha (ongoing)

The second season of Vera Maari Office, a series set against the backdrop of working space, takes a horror comedy turn. The star ensemble includes RJ Vijay, Janani Ashokkumar, VJ Pappu, Soundariya Nanjundan, Raveena Daha, Jaiseelan, Vikkals Vikram, and others. It is directed by Jaswin J. Shivakanth has served as the creator and producer of the series.
