Deiva Thirumagal is a courtroom drama, written and directed by AL Vijay. It is about a father who is mentally stunted and lives with his young and motherless daughter. My Dear Bhootham is about a young boy who finds a magic lamp which summons a genie who grants him wishes.

Thanga Meenkal is a coming-of-age film, written and directed by Ram, who has penned the story along with his daughter Shri Sankara Gomathy Ram. Kaaka Muttai is a social comedy drama by filmmaker M Manikandan.
