Released today, June 7, 2024, Munjya, the newest Hindi horror comedy from prolific director Aditya Sarpotdar, is just one more interesting addition to the director's extensive and varied oeuvre. In the film industry, he has made a name for himself as a multi-genre, multi-lingual filmmaker. His directing endeavours have enthralled audiences, from the exciting pursuit of a heritage shield in Uladhaal to the touching coming-of-age tale in Satrangi Re, from the riveting land war in Narbachi Wadi to the college political drama in Classmates.

The crime thriller Faster Fene and the action drama Mauli are two of his notable works that demonstrate his talent for creating captivating stories. Both The Sholay Girl and The Raikar Case showcase Sarpotdar's signature style of unusual narrative and high drama, with the former honouring India's first stuntwoman and the latter delving into a family's sinister secrets.
