Major announcements have happened in the world of anime over the weekend. While the world was busy watching the much-awaited Jinwoo vs Beru in Solo Leveling season 2 semi-finale episode i.e. episode 12 (and making the website crash again), a lot more unfolded. We got new updates on Naruto, One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen and much more.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 expected for 2026 release, new movie arriving in May

There was lack of information on the anime except that it is under production, but Jujutsu Kaisen's new movie is confirmed for May 30 release, only in Japan for now.

Naruto's 4 new episodes delayed

Naruto

Studio Pierrot, which has been backing Naruto, did not confirm any anime for 2025. Thus, it is automatically believed that the four episodes from the world of Naruto (most watched anime in 2024) are delayed. Naturally, there's no update on Boruto or Black Clover either.

One Piece, on the other hand, will have a new opening. One Piece: Egg Head will replace Solo Leveling season 2 in two weeks. Two episodes from the anime will release back-to-back. To top it off, the new spin-off is titled One Piece in Love.

Sakamoto Days season 2 returns in July

Even if Sakamoto Days opened to a lukewarm response, the anime will be back with its second season and it happens soon. Season 2 will release in July 2025.
