Netflix is about to unleash a wave of new Korean dramas and movies in the last quarter of 2025. With a bunch of highly-anticipated South Korean content, featuring some big actors, fans can expect a mind-blowing dose of intense action, some tearjerker moments, a little bit of romance, and a whole new spectrum of comedies, all ready to release throughout October, November and December. Additionally, some old fan favorites are saying their goodbyes this month. So, get ready for binge-watching bliss.

This Korean television program has ten episodes, with actors like Kim Ji-hoon, Park Ji-yoon, Jang Jin, Ahn Yu-jin, Jang Dong-min, and others, involved in a popular Korean role-playing mystery game where players who become suspects and detectives uncover the hidden culprit among them. The first season of Crime Scene Zero also consisted of ten episodes and aired on the JTBC channel in 2014.

Yim Si-wan of Squid Game fame returns to action with the Mantis movie, which is a spin-off of Netflix's other Korean flick, Kill Boksoon from 2023. The 36-year-old actor will be seen as Mantis, an infamous assassin who returns to his dangerous job after a hiatus. Mantis must now fight with other skilled assassins to prove himself and fight for the top spot.

Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy reunite long after their first Netflix drama, Uncontrollably Fond. Genie, Make a Wish is a fantasy drama that follows a poor woman who finds a magical lamp and accidentally awakens the Genie, who is a mischievous 1000-year-old magical spirit. As Genie tries to adapt to the modern world, the duo find themselves in a whirlwind of romance with surprising dark elements waiting to take them to an unknown world.

Lee Jun-ho and Kim Min-ha join hands for this family business drama, with sixteen episodes. Typhoon Family is set against the backdrop of the 1997 IMF financial crisis. The story follows a carefree young heir who must take over his family's struggling business, Typhoon Company, after his father's sudden death. He must shed his immaturity and grow into a responsible leader, developing a new sense of authority and a challenging spirit.

Starring Sul Kyung-gu, Hong Kyung and Ryu Seung-beom in the lead roles, this thriller movie is inspired from the real-life incident of hijacking of a Japanese passenger plane in March 1970. The Korean drama follows a secret mission led by a committed team intent on safely bringing down the hijacked aircraft, employing whatever tactics the situation demands. Good News premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) earlier this month and is set for a global release digitally on Netflix.

Kim Da-mi's latest movie is a compelling mix of adventure, intense action, and science fiction, featuring elements of dystopian, Armageddon, and survival themes. The Great Flood follows the struggle of humanity in a world consumed by a catastrophic flood, with the story centering on survivors in a high-rise apartment.
