The cult-favourite Tamil horror comedy film series starring Dhilluku Dhuddu star Santhanam has returned with the fourth part titled Devil’s Double Next Level. The movie is now out in theatres (May 16). From Dhilluku Dhuddu to DD Returns, Santhanam’s horror-comedy franchise has garnered praise over the years with its chaotic misadventures. Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 

Rambhala directed this horror comedy sequel with Santhanam returning in the lead role alongside Shritha Sivadas, Rajendran, and Urvashi in pivotal roles. The plot revolves around Maya, who is being protected by some mysterious magical spell that dooms anyone who proposes to her to a tragic fate. When a nuisance guy named Vijay falls in love with her and is thrashed by a ghost, he tries to figure out what happened in the past and undo the spell.

DD Returns 

Directed by Prem Anand, the third installment in the DD franchise marks the debut of S. Prem Anand. The star-studded ensemble cast features Santhanam and Surbhi in the lead, alongside Redin Kingsley, Maaran, and Pradeep Rawat in significant roles. The filmmaker also returned to helm the fourth installment, which recently hit the screens.

The plot revolves around a group of friends who unwittingly get entangled in a scary game of survival after they come to a haunted bungalow to retrieve their money and jewels. How the ghost unleashes its terror with this quirky gang follows the crux of this story.
