Sridevi was one of the most prolific actors in Indian cinema. Having started her stint in the film industry as a child artist, she went on to share screen space with stalwarts of the Indian industry and rule the roost both in the south and north. After her humble beginnings in Telugu and Tamil films, she moved to Hindi films and eventually got married to producer Boney Kapoor. Although Sridevi is not with us, there is never a bad time to rewatch some of her old films.

Sridevi made an acting comeback after 15 years with this film, which also stars Adil Hussain, French actor Mehdi Nebbou, and Priya Anand.

Judaai is a 1997 Hindi film starring Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, Urmila Matondkar, Kader Khan, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Upasana Singh and Saeed Jaffrey, among others. It is a remake of Telugu film Subhalagnam and revolves around a greedy wife who convinces her husband to get married to a rich woman in return for wealth.
