At the peak of his career, Suresh Gopi was one of the leading stars during the 90s. His thriller films, with the likes of Commissioner and Pathram, have a huge fan following, especially for the dialogues that pack a punch. Though the actor later transitioned to active politics, he is still a part of Malayalam cinema. His latest film, Janaki v/s State of Kerala, hits theatres on June 20, 2025. Suresh Gopi thrillers on OTT

Pathram 

The film follows fiery journalist Devika Shekhar, the daughter of the firebrand editor Shekharan (Murali). After Shekharan death, his friend's son Nandagopal, also a journalist with a leading daily, supports Devika and helps in the investigation led by Firoze Mohammed. Manju Warrier plays Devika, who also has her share of powerful dialogues, while Suresh Gopi is seen as Nandagopal. It is one of the must-watch Malayalam thrillers on OTTplay Premium.

Lelam

Suresh Gopi is seen as Chackochi, the son of liquor baron Anakattil Eappachan. After Eappachan is killed by the rival Kadayadi sibliings, Chackochi seeks to find the culprits and save the family business. Renji Panicker has penned Joshiy directorial. Though Suresh Gopi is the leading star, Soman as Eappachan gets the best dialogues in the film.

Paappan

A former cop, Abraham Mathew aka Paappan, rejoins duty to help his estranged daughter ACP Vincy Abraham as they seek to track down a serial killer who stays one step ahead of them. Suresh Gopi leads the Joshiy film along with Neeta Pillai, Gokul Suresh, Asha Sharath, Nyla Usha, Ajmal Ameer and Kaniha. 

Rajaputhran

After his father's unexpected demise, Anand returns to his home and takes over his business. But he soon gets ousted from his own company, and how has to fight back to reclaim what was rightfully his. Suresh Gopi is joined by Tamil actor Vikram, Vijayaraghavan, Shobhana and Murali in this thriller.

Commissioner

One of the most popular roles of Suresh Gopi is in Commissioner, where he plays the brash Bharathchandran IPS. As he busts a smuggling racket, he finds himself up against the powerful Mohan Thomas. The crackling dialogues from the 1994 film, including 'Just Remember That', still find their way into trolls and memes. The Renji Panicker-scripted film is available for streaming on YouTube.
