Mani Ratnam is reuniting with Kamal Haasan after 38 years since the release of Nayakan, for Thug Life. The film has created much anticipation, especially with the release of the first single, Jinguchaa. Scheduled to release on June 5, Mani Ratnam's film features Silambarasan, Trisha and many others. Iruvar is a 1997 political drama, written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The film features an ensemble star cast including Mohanlal, Prakash Raj, Aishwarya Rai, Revathi, Gautami, Tabu, and Nassar, among others. The film marked Aishwarya Rai's debut while it was Mohanlal's first Tamil film in a full-fledged role. Iruvar is inspired by the lives of MG Ramachandran, M Karunanidhi and J Jayalalithaa, the three stalwarts of Tamil Nadu cinema who transitioned to politics and made a huge impact.

Alaipayuthey is a 2000 romantic drama starring Madhavan in his breakthrough role and Shalini as the female lead. Told in a non-linear fashion, Alaipayuthey is about two young lovers who elope and get married and the realities they face with married life. With AR Rahman scoring the music, Alaipayuthey is one of the most evergreen romantic films of Tamil cinema. Actors Jayasudha, Vivek, Swarnamalya and others play important roles.

Yuva - SunNXT (in Telugu), OTTplay Premium

Yuva/Aayutha Ezhuthu is a 2004 political action drama starring Suriya, R. Madhavan and Siddharth, Esha Deol, Meera Jasmine, Trisha, Sriman, and Janagaraj. The film revolves around three men from different walks of life - a goon, an activist and a student and how their lives merge. AR Rahman once again scored music for the film.

Anjali - ZEE5 (In Hindi), OTTplay Premium

Anjali is a 1990 family drama starring Raghuvaran, Revathi, with Taun, Shruti and Shamilee as child artistes. The film revolves around a couple who are living with their two children, and how their life turns after coming to know the presence of their third child, who is mentally disabled and terminally ill. Anjali is a poignant film on family and relationships from the children's point of view. It won several national film awards.

Bombay – Prime Video (In Tamil)

Bombay stars Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala in the lead roles. The film is set against the backdrop of the Bombay riots of 1992-93, which happened after the demolition of the Babri Masjid. Bombay is the story of two star-crossed lovers who come from Hindu and Muslim backgrounds and how the political climate around them hinders their romance and life together.
