Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum

This Sibi Malayil film marked the script-writing debut of Bobby-Sanjay. The film revolves around a boy named Vasudev, who leads a happy life with his father and stepmother. When a younger brother is born, Vasudev is ecstatic initially, but soon finds that he is no more the centre of attention. In a fit of rage, the child commits a mistake that leads to a horrendous consequence. Kalidas Jayaram won a National Award for Best Child Artist for his performance in the film, which also features Jayaram and Jyothirmayi.

Ayalum Njanum Thammil

This Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer follows the journey of Dr. Ravi Tharakan, a carefree youth who becomes a dedicated surgeon. The film tracks his life-altering stint at a hospital in Munnar, which is headed by Dr. Samuel ( Prathap Pothen). Samvrutha Sunil plays his love interest Sainu, while Kalabhavan Mani is also seen in a key role.

How Old Are You

Bobby-Sanjay ensured that Manju Warrier made a stellar comeback with an author-backed role. Manju plays UD clerk Nirupama Rajeev, who is unable to join her husband and daughter as they move to Ireland. After a high-profile meeting goes wrong, Nirupama sets out to make things right as she finds new motivation and reasons to live her life to the fullest. Kunchacko Boban plays her husband Rajeev.

Kaanekkaane

Another Bobby-Sanjay penned film, which had both drama and thrilling moments. Suraj Venjaramoodu is seen as deputy tehsildar Paul, who visits the house of his deceased daughter’s in-laws to meet his grandson. But something catches his eye in the house, and he decides to get to the bottom of it. Tovino Thomas, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Shruthi Ramachandran play other key roles in this film, which raises some unsettling questions.

Salute
