Oru Jaathi Jathakam

This movie was previously scheduled for a 2024 release. But it got delayed and now will be released in 2025. Directed by Katha Parayumbol-fame M. Mohanan, the movie features Vineeth Sreenivasan, Nikhila Vimal, Babu Antony, P P Kunhikrishnan, Mridul Nair, Vidhu Prathap, Sayanora Philip and Kayadu Lohar in prominent roles. The narrative of the movie revolves around the life of a youth named Jayesh in North Malabar.

Ennu Swantham Punyalan

This Malayalam fantasy-comedy drama is helmed by debutant director Mahesh Madhu, and it features Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan, and Balu Varghese in the lead roles. The narrative of this movie follows the life of a priest named Thomas, who is forced to fulfill his mother's vow. His peaceful existence at the church is disrupted when a young woman unexpectedly arrives at the church while seeking refuge from her troubles. The movie is scheduled to release on January 10.

Anpodu Kanmani

Directed by Liju Thomaz, this drama features Arjun Ashokan, Anagha Narayanan, Johny Antony, Navas Vallikkunu, Althaf Salim, Mridul Nair, Maala Parvathi, and Bhagath Baby Manuel. The narrative follows a young couple dealing with a range of emotions in love and other personal matters. The movie title is inspired by the song ‘Kanmani Anbodu Kadhalan’ from the 1991 film, Gunaa. Currently, it's scheduled for a March 29 release.

Dominic and the Ladies' Purse

Starring Mammootty in the lead role, the movie is also backed by the Malayalam megastar. The Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial will hit the big screens on January 23, Mammootty had revealed the news on social media. The teaser of the movie promises an interesting mix of comedy and investigation, along with a Sherlock-inspired character played by Mammootty.

Bromance

This Malayalam drama is set to release on Valentine's Day, February 14. Starring Arjun Ashokan, Mathew Thomas and Mahima Nambiar, the narrative is about three close male friends and their confrontation with a beautiful woman. It's a fun and realistic story of all bachelor men about friendship, love, youth, and sexual taboo.

Dear Students

This Malayalam comedy drama is co-directed by Sandeep Kumar and George Philip. The movie features Lady Superstar Nayanthara and Nivin Pauly in the lead role, who has also co-produced the movie. Dear Students marks the second collaboration between Nivin and Nayanthara after the 2019 film, Love Action Drama.

Marana Mass

After back-to-back hits like Sookshmadarshini, Nunakkuzhi, and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil in 2024, filmmaker-cum-actor Basil Joseph is back with another comedy drama this New Year 2025. The film is backed by Identity star Tovino Thomas. Helmed by Sivaprasad, the film also stars Rajesh Madhavan, Siju Sunny, and Suresh Krishna. The release date is yet to be announced.
