Thiruchitrambalam is directed by Mithran Jawahar and stars Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Raashii Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja, Prakash Raj and others. The film revolves around Pazham, who lives with his father and grandfather, as he holds a grudge against his father for being the cause of his mother’s death. Having failed in romance, and with best friend Shobana by his side, Pazham tries to navigate a happy life. At the core, Thiruchitrambalam is a story of a dysfunctional family of three generations of men, with elements of romance and comedy.

Kudumbasthan is directed by Kudumbasthan is a family comedy drama helmed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy in his directorial debut, and stars Manikandan, Saanve Meghana, Guru Somasundaram and others. The film revolves around the sole breadwinner of a family, who has to navigate his life after he gets fired from his job. Without letting his family know, and also managing the expenses, Kudumbasthan promises a fun-filled, and close-to-reality film.

Santhosh Subramaniam is a romantic family comedy drama featuring Ravi Mohan and Genelia in the lead roles. It revolves around the titular character, who lives with his joint family and a strict father who has a say in everything. But when the son falls in love with a free-spirited girl, the father poses a challenge to bring her home for seven days to prove she is not suitable for his son. Prakash Raj, Geetha and Sayaji Shinde, among others, appear in supporting characters in this remake of the Telugu film Bommarillu. Mohan Raja has directed Santhosh Subramaniam.

Thiru.Manickam is a family drama written and directed by Nandha Periyasamy and stars Samuthirakani in the titular role. The ensemble cast includes Ananya, Bharathiraja, Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran and Ilavarasu. The film revolves around the protagonist who lives a modest life with his family in the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border and runs a lottery ticket shop. After an old man selects a ticket from his shop and promises to come back the next day to pay and collect it, the protagonist realises that the said ticket has won a huge cash prize. While in need of money himself, the honest person goes in search of the old man to give his rightful ticket.

Inspired by the 2001 American film I am Sam, Deiva Thirumagal is directed by AL Vijay. The film revolves around a mentally challenged father who single-handedly raises his daughter after the mother dies during childbirth. However, they are soon separated after the mother's family take the daughter away, leaving the father to struggle to reunite with his child. Vikram, Baby Sara, Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul, Nasser, Santhanam and others form the cast.
