Alappuzha Gymkhana, Naslen's most recent film, is scheduled to appear on OTT shortly. Starting on June 13, the sports drama will be available for streaming on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV. Rahul Riji Nair, who is renowned for his films like Keedam and Jai Mahendran, is the director and writer of this movie. In this film, Rajisha Vijayan portrays Maria Francis, a former athlete who now teaches physical education and Anju, the team captain, is portrayed by Mamitha Baiju. The narrative tracks Maria as she puts together and prepares the team while overcoming several obstacles.

A well-known tug-of-war team from the 80s and 90s serves as the inspiration for this movie, which stars Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead role. A former champion at tug-of-war, Kochu inadvertently causes his team to lose a match. However, he comes back 20 years later to restore the team's lost reputation and glory.

The movie is about seven young men who are obsessed with football and how they unintentionally become involved in a criminal activity. Throughout northern parts of Kerala, particularly in Kozhikode, Malappuram, and Kannur, seven players play a form of football called sevens.
