Little Hearts is a very low-budget Telugu film that has caught the imagination of one and all. Not many know, but the film was supposed to be a direct OTT release. Once the makers revealed the trailer, it went viral, and they changed their decision at the last minute to release Little Hearts in theatres.
Little Hearts packs a punch on day 1
Featuring popular YouTuber Mouli in the lead role, the film has been backed by Aditya Haasan, who last made the blockbuster series #90s, now streaming on OTTplay Premium. Little Hearts announced its release date on September 5, 2025, alongside big films like Ghaati and Madharaasi.
Many trolled the film for daring to release alongside such biggies, but the makers were confident and went ahead with the release. The response has been superb, and Little Hearts has made ₹1.5 crore net in Telugu on day one. These collections are huge, as the film was made on a budget of just ₹2 crore, and recovering that much on day one is a big achievement.
Yet another special aspect is that day-two collections of Little Hearts are expected to be more than Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati, which made only ₹2 crore on day one. The day-two occupancy of Ghaati is much lower than Little Hearts, which means Little Hearts is set to make double the money that Ghaati does on day two.

The response has been superb, and tickets are being sold out like hotcakes across different ticketing portals. There is a clear difference in bookings, as Little Hearts has dominated both Madharaasi and Ghaati in the Telugu states.
ETV Win has bagged the digital rights to Little Hearts and will stream the film in the first week of October 2025.
