Little Hearts is in no mood to slow down and has shocked trade experts big time. Initially slated for an OTT release, the makers backed out at the last minute and decided on a theatrical release, thanks to the solid response to the trailer.
Little Hearts in no mood to slow down
The hype around the film lived up to expectations, as Little Hearts has been declared a big hit at the box office with collections only getting better each passing day. The comedy caper passed the key Monday test, as it made ₹2.2 crore in the Telugu states, which is a record for such a low-budget film.
Day five at the box office was also strong, as Little Hearts collected ₹2.1 crore on Tuesday. These numbers are no joke, considering the film does not feature any noted actors in lead roles.
Interestingly, Little Hearts has earned more than Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati, which ended as a big disaster at the box office, with Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi also disappointing in Telugu.
Mouli, who played a key role in #90s, plays the main lead in Little Hearts, while Shivani Nagaram of Ambajipeta Marriage Band fame is the female lead. Their chemistry is one of the highlights of the film. Directed by Sai Marthand, the film has won hearts with perfect casting, solid humor, and subtle emotions.
