Netflix has some interesting titles lined up for an August release. As four months remain for the year to end, the platform seems to have taken it upon them to bring in something interesting almost every week. From Darlings to Never Have I Ever season 3, here’s everything releasing on Netflix this month…
Clusterf**k: Woodstock '99 – August 3
Remember Woodstock music festival in the 1969? Full of peace and music, this festival caused riots in 1999. Not just any riot. It was three days of rage and harming others. This documentary tries to show what went wrong.
Kakegurui Twin – August 4
All anime fans know what this show is. It is about the lead Mary Saotome who is a compulsive gambler. She has gambled everything she owns, to keep up with her elite high school, who promote high stakes gambling.
The Sandman – August 5
The ignored DC character The Sandman now comes to life, on Netflix. The King of Dreams Morpheus is out on a journey to find out about his stolen powers and of course, restore them.
Darlings – August 5
Featuring Neena Gupta and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, Darlings (also produced by Alia), sees Badru trying to transform her husband and going on a journey of self-discovery in the process. She and her mom clumsily seek revenge, making it an entertaining ride.
Locke & Key: Season 3 – August 10
Locke & Key enters its final chapter this month. The Locke family will face another formidable foe who wants to possess the keys. Who will win?
Indian Matchmaking: Season 2 – August 10
Sima aunty is back and it gets crazy. Sima Taparia, who plays cupid, deals with tougher crowd who are looking for the perfect match and are way too specific about their needs.
DOTA: Dragon's Blood: Book 3 – August 11
A video game-turned-animated series, Dota is now in its third season. The show will see if the brave warriors can defeat a strong foe.
Never Have I Ever: Season 3 – August 12
Devi is coming back with some more drama this time. She still figures out who she likes better and gets to realize that she needs to pick herself above and beyond every guy ever.
