Day 40 in Lock Upp begins with Azma Fallah getting emotional while sending a message for her mother. She then reveals it is her mom's birthday.
Meanwhile, Zeeshan Khan is seen working out and telling a drawing near his place that he misses and loves the person a lot. On waking up, Shivam Sharma dedicates a shayari to food.
Payal Rohatgi tells Azma that Munawar only sleeps, gets sick, eats and participates in tasks. This happens after Azma reveals that Team Blue pre-decided to put Vinit Kakar in nominations. Team Munawar discusses about Payal too. Meanwhile, Payal breaks down after Azma talks about Payal's brother.
Vinit complains to Zeeshan and Ali Mercchant about how Munawar has brought war upon himself by nominating him. Soon, Mandana Karimi apologizes to Azma, who doesn't accept her apology.
For the first time, the contestants get to discuss Kangana Ranaut's stand on Grammy Awards, which she took through her Instagram story. Shivam Sharma tries to talk to Poonam Pandey, who ignores him and talks to Ali about late Lata Mangeshkar.
The inmates meet jailor Karan Kundrra and Mandana Karimi tells Karan she loves him, which leaves him surprised. Karan says that almost every inmate is his friend since a long time, including her. Mandana then says that she spoke to him as a friend and the two patch up with a hug. Karan apologizes to Mandana too.
Saisha Shinde then tells Karan that many masks are out and she has seen everyone's real face after getting out of the jail. Soon, Karan reveals the new task and Anjali Arora and Poonam cannot play the game.
Zeeshan goes against Vinit and Shivam goes against Ali. Zeeshan-Vinit would play tug of war while Shivam-Ali will play flip the bottle. Zeeshan defeats Vinit in the round with ease.
This time, Ali goes up against Zeeshan while Payal goes up against Saisha. This time, the mini game is making stacks. Zeeshan wins again before Payal or Saisha could enter the game.
Kaaranvir Bohra and Shivam join Zeeshan for round 3. Meanwhile, Munawar joins Ali and Vinit. Saisha replaces Munawar in tug of war. Meanwhile, Munawar goes for the mini game with Payal. Munawar wins the mini task and Shivam goes out of the tug of war task. KV and Zeeshan struggle while Saisha goes all out. Team Blue wins this time. Shivam and Mandana accuse Saisha on sitting on the ground and using her hands. Munawar jokes about that with Saisha too.
For round 4, Munawar and Vinit exchange places and so do Payal and Shivam. Team Blue wins even this round.
Round 5, which is the final round, is without the mini game. KV, Zeeshan and Shivam go up against Munawar, Saisha and Ali. Team Orange finally wins the round again.
Karan talks about the demands the inmates keep making. When he asks the inmates to make an appeal from a list that will flash on their TV, Saisha asks Karan if he's on the list too. In response, he speaks about being in a committed relationship (with Tejasswi Prakash).
Shivam requests Zeeshan that he wants to meet his father and thus, go to jhol ghar. Zeeshan later discusses with Vinit that he will go to jhol ghar because he's in the chargesheet too and has performed the best. Meanwhile, Saisha complains to Anjali about how Ali ruined the game for Team Blue.
KV asks Zeeshan if he is given an opportunity to throw somebody out of the house and Zeeshan instantly names MunJali. If he has to pick from the chargesheet, it will be Azma.
Zeeshan and Shivam talk out about jhol ghar again. Zeeshan confronts Shivam with his views. Shivam asks for team decision or toss and walks out. KV says he wants Shivam to go, while Mandana votes for Zeeshan. They argue while Shivam talks to Azma, Ali and Poonam from Team Blue about the situation.
Saisha almost goes first to make her appeal but Shivam goes and asks for his hairspray and shampoo. Anjali picks a perfume. She falls down while walking out of the stage and sprains her knee. Munawar jokes she will get sympathy votes from public after the accident. Shivam picks her up and takes her to her barrack.
Ali goes next and asks for chocolates. Payal asks for personal footwear. Munawar asks for hair wax for Shivam, KV and himself. Saisha asks for hair styling tool so she can divert Munawar's attention from Anjali. Zeeshan asks for pasta. Azma asks for chips. KV asks for aereated drinks. Mandana asks for chocolate drink. Poonam asks for accessories and jewelleries. As she seduces the viewers to do that, Munawar turns his face the other way. After seeing that, KV says that she should beat people up if her wish doesn't come true. In turn, Munawar says people will fight to send her accessories.
As soon as the appeals end, Munawar jokes with Mandana that she didn't want to share her shake with him. He says he brought her blankets 'jab thandi mein thar thar rahi thi'. Mandana laughs and gives him a hug for it.
Mandana finds a top in the bathroom. She talks about 'someone hiding it in the washroom' and Vinit says someone thought it was hers. Zeeshan and KV talk about the situation with Saisha too. Mandana then approaches Poonam in front of Ali and Azma and says that someone hid her top and it was from Team Blue since Team Orange couldn't go in the washroom. Poonam approaches Azma and she says Team Orange has access to the washroom since two days. Poonam leaves her top at the table to see who touches it. MunJali talk about her among them and Munawar says she talks at random some times. Meanwhile, an upset Poonam says, "Kapde bhi kiske chupa rahe ho? Jisko zarurat nahi hai." She then makes a deal with Azma to harass Mandana as a team of two.
When KV tells Shivam he has 'loser attitude', Shivam starts screaming at KV and in turn gets, "Do not use that tone with me." Shivam then asks KV to let Zeeshan go to jhol ghar. The two later come to terms that Shivam will try to go to the jhol ghar next week.
When Poonam asks her fans for votes, KV comes and distracts her. He asks her to go and make food for them. Azma drops in as Poonam leaves and tells the cameras, "Yeh bacchon ka mamla nahi hai."
Mandana then talks about Anjali's writing and her many dogs. Munawar says Laado is her boyfriend and not doggo. Anjali says she is happy because Munawar is on the show. She says she found a friend in Munawar, who in turn calls her a 'mareej (patient)'. Anjali says she will leave next saturday because of her injury and Munawar asks her to rest but later jokes that he will have to take walks with Mandana, who talks a lot. He then cares for her as she says she is in pain.
Poonam blushes and bonds with Ali as he does shayari with her. As Poonam eats an apple, Ali says he will frame the apple or carry it as a necklace. The two break into a dance. Azma says Poonam fans will get jealous and stop voting for Ali.
Payal discusses jhol ghar incident with Azma, who agrees KV is using Shivam. Payal asks Shivam to play his own game. She says that Munawar wants him out and KV is going to be there with him for him for some time only. Shivam refuses to do so stating KV won't support a wild card contestant over him.
Munawar asks for a large black t-shirt. As Saisha joins in the dirty talks with Poonam, Munawar puts the ice pack on his eyes and sleeps. Saisha then goes and seduces Anjali. While she does that, Munawar says, "Tauba tauba tauba tauba." When Saisha adjusts her clothes on Munawar's head, he asks her to stop.
Saisha asks Munawar what if he was single and he says he is single. Hearing that, Saisha asks him to decide. Later, she asks him if he would have approached her if he was single and he accepts it saying maybe. She then asks Munawar if she can move on from him to Zeeshan. After the conversation, Munawar asks Anjali what is happening and she responds 'dard'. When Saisha asks her 'Dil mein ya pair mein?,' she replies with the latter.
