Lock Upp day 5 written update: Kangana Ranaut to punish Munawar Faruqui, Karanvir Bohra over the weekend

Day 5 in the Lock Upp begins with Sara Khan getting almost upset at Shivam Sharma. Later, Payal Rohatgi breaks down while demanding sunlight. Some time after, Munawar Faruqui, Saisha Shinde, Poonam Pandey and Anjali Arora discuss foot fetish. Munawar walks away and Saisha reveals what she likes and doesn't like in bed.

Munawar discusses his time in real jail with Nisha Rawal and Sara Khan. He reveals that 50% of the people in the jail were innocent but aren't anymore. Munawar feels he has become weaker after being imprisoned. He says that people accepted him more which gave him the confidence to get back on stage within a week of release from the jail.

Poonam Pandey, on the other hand, reveals she wants to shift to US. She discusses about how the trolls are actually the ones who download and watch her videos at night. The model-actress then discusses what society really is with Kacha Badam famed actress Anjali Arora and Tehseen Poonawalla.

Shivam breaks down in front of Karanvir Bohra as Sara accuses him of faking love. While Karanvir tries to explain to Shivam that Sara has her own feelings, she enters and clears the air. As Shivam does shayari even while crying, Anjali ends up calling him cheap and later changes her statement to sweet. Munawar later jokes about how Sara hasn't refused Shivam either. She tells Munawar that she has no clue what to do with Shivam and he jokes about that too. Meanwhile, Shivam takes some time off and lays with his thoughts in the washroom area. Siddharth feels Shivam is in a phase of his life where he is frustrated. Shivam meditates as Sara clears the paper he used to express his love.

As Shivam calls himself Thor and Iron Man of Lock Upp season 1, Munawar says, "Kya baat hai, dono marr jaate hai." As Siddharth joins in the fun and takes a dig at Shivam calling him 'Arre khajur' (while Munawar offers him dates), Shivam warns his teammate that the two are in his radar and he will mess with them.

Munawar clears that he doesn’t hate Shivam and instead likes him. While Poonam asks him to stop with the bullying, Munawar says that people should learn to control their language in order to win over the world. Meanwhile, Shivam demands to play solo and not with the team. He calls out his teammates in front of the camera and tags Tehseen as 'cartoon, joker'. He then tells the cameras that he will only win.

The second round of the task is here. Payal step out since there needs to be equal amount of contestants. Karanvir and Shivam go first. Munawar vs Tehseen, Babita vs Sara, Poonam vs Chakrapani, Nisha vs Anjali and Siddharth vs Saisha go next. The game is of bluff. Munawar and Shivam represent their teams. Siddharth and Tehseen go next. Tehseen ends up in an argument with Munawar. Siddharth gets the flipper tag. Sara vs Babita, Chakrapani vs Karanvir, Saisha vs Poonam go next. Saisha revolts with the guards. Later, Munawar and Siddharth have an argument after the former uses a cuss word. As the two argue, Shivam breaks into a disco dance. Poonam also argues with Munawar over his behaviour.

Nisha goes opposite Anjali too. Poonam breaks into a dance in the middle of the task. Meanwhile, Nisha calls Anjali hypocrite despite showing her love post the task. Team Orange was winning the task but eventually, Team Blue wins it.

The inmates protest since they are not receiving breakfast, tea and hot water everyday. Karanvir and Munawar are asked to be ready for their class with Kangana Ranaut over the weekend. Anjali also discusses with Poonam how they played dirty. Munawar tells Saisha and Poonam about how people are hating him for playing upfront and not being sweet. The comedian breaks down thanks to the situation. Later, though, Poonam and Anjali sit with him and Karanvir as they joke about Payal. Munawar says she is cornering her own self. Karanvir justifies saying he really likes her and isn't like what he imagined her to be.
