Zeeshan Khan was evicted from Lock Upp after getting physical with Azma Fallah. The actor claims she irked him for two weeks, while Payal Rohatgi made the Islamophobic remarks in the first week. He claims that the mental abuse took place for three weeks straight.

Talking about the incident, Zeeshan mentioned, “When we talk about verbal or mental abuse on a girl, we address the fact and question how dare anybody mentally abuse her. What about a guy? Don’t we have a heart? I’ve been taking that for two weeks. Even when I reacted, I still say that my reaction was a little extreme and wrong. I accept that. I said sorry for it. I apologized for it and I even got a punishment that I did with all my heart for it, even though I was being mocked during my punishment and apology by Payal, Shivam (Sharma) and Azma. When Payal came up to me and told me sorry half-heartedly, I accepted it. I gave my personal forgiveness to her and moved on.”

Azma had refused to accept Zeeshan’s apology. Recalling that, he said, “When I was apologizing, no one was willing to give me a chance to improve. I know that I made a mistake. I know that it was a little extreme but put yourself in my shoes. If you cannot handle it for a mere five times, I’ve handled it for two weeks. Break that into days, hours and minutes. Then you’ll know what I’ve been through. That is two weeks of Azma telling things about my girlfriend and me.”

Zeeshan revealed that he went through an anxiety attack after Payal’s Islamophobic remark. She had given him a tag during their halal discussion. “The first week – after the whole terrorist thing – I even went through an anxiety attack. My only point is that people are trying to put their feminism point on it – physical assault on a woman and everything,” Zeeshan said.

He added, “Again, having said that, I’m sorry and I was ready to make amends but I also stood up for two women who are the most important women in my life. One has given birth to me and the second, I’m going to spend the rest of my life with. I stood up for two women only.”

Zeeshan then said that Azma’s friends Payal, Shivam and Kaaranvir Bohra also react when things get personal. He said, “If it was only me – even during the terrorist statement – I took it because it was on me. You are going on two people who are close to me and they aren’t there to defend themselves and I’ve been taking that bullshit for two weeks continuously. I’ve cried, howled, locked myself up and cried – done everything. I would even go to Azma’s ‘so called’ sister and mother figure Payal, her friends Shivam and KV, that when things get personal with them, they react the same way.”

Claiming that Payal encouraged Azma, Zeeshan mentioned, “I even told Payal that when somebody calls out Sangram (Singh), you don’t like it. She (Azma) is bringing my parents and girlfriend and saying such cheap and filthy things. Her response was, ‘Yeah but that is her game. How can I?’ It was hypocrisy. She was encouraging her. You’re laughing at that when she is saying those things. That gives her more encouragement – that what she’s doing is right.”

“What about the mental abuse on me? What are my crimes over here – that I’m a Muslim and I’m a man? I fail to understand,” he chimed in.

Previously, Zeeshan also told OTTplay that Payal had encouraged Azma into the fight. He said that Payal asked Azma to talk ill about his girlfriend and mother because they are his ‘dukhti nas.’
