Lock Upp: Kangana Ranaut asks Payal Rohatgi to mimic Poonam Pandey; watch clip

In a recent promo clip for Lock Upp, host Kangana Ranaut requested Payal Rohatgi to mimic Poonam Pandey's mannerisms and body language.

"Payal you have a lot of experience mimicking everyone. So will you become Poonam and give us a performance?," Ranaut asks Payal, who wears prison orange pants and a board with the name Poonam hanging around her neck.

Payal happily complies and begins talking at random and reenacting the way Poonam speaks, "My dear sister, please understand, you know, I feel this because you’re really really a good girl. You know, I have this thing, I feel you, you’re a very good human being. I really really feel it! I just love it. You know, I’ve never gotten so much love. Mujhe kabhi itna pyaar nahi mila."

Her performance seems to have amused the host and all the other contestants, including Saisha Shinde on whom the camera pans on to. 

Recently, another one of Payal's antics made the news after she failed to name the President of India. Twitterati was in splits and surprise that the actor was unable to furnish an answer for such a simple question, according to Hindustan Times. 

Lock Upp is streaming on AltBalaji and MXPlayer and marks Ranaut's first stint as host. 

In the recent episode of the show, Tehseen Poonawalla, Karanvir Bohra, Payal, Poonam, Saisha Shinde and Shivam Sharma were the contestants in danger of being voted out. Ultimately, Tehseen gained the least number of public votes and was asked to leave the show.
