Lock Upp: Kangana Ranaut calls out Mandana Karimi for body-shaming Azma Fallah, reminds her petite girls struggle for jobs

Kangana Ranaut took a stand when it came to the wild card entrants on her show Mandana Karimi and Azma Fallah. While she said that Mandana was on the right track, Azma really shined out during the week. Despite saying that Mandana knew what she was doing, Kangana had one problem with the actress – that she body-shamed Azma.

Many inmates call Azma ‘chutki’ and try to bully and intimidate her to an extent (whether they mean it or not is a different topic). Munawar Faruqui, Shivam Sharma and Mandana Karimi, especially, were seen constantly calling out Azma in one way or another. Evicted contestant Chetan Hansraj had tagged her as ‘chutki’.

Kangana first called out Mandana for laughing when the actress said that the inmates were body-shaming Azma. Mandana said that she feels Azma is like a cute atom bomb who goes to one corner and blasts. Kangana did not support that statement and explained Mandana that Azma represents the group of petite people on the show and thus, she should be treated with equal respect.

The host then reminded Mandana that many petite girls struggle for jobs in various fields. Complexion and height become a factor when it comes to applying for an air-hostess or management job. Thus, Kangana asked everyone to be sensitive towards Azma and treat her as an equal because she has come to represent something that needs a voice.

Kangana then called out Munawar and Shivam for blackmailing Azma that they would put her in the tank and throw her out of the house. While Munawar kept declaring it was in fun, Kangana and Azma corrected him stating it was said in anger. For the uninitiated, Shivam knows Azma from outside the house. They were in Splitsvilla X3. When Azma came on the show, Shivam treated her like a friend but also asked the makers whether they knew what they were doing, bringing her in the house.

Mandana later tried to put her point across – that her domestic violence case was brought up on the show. That is when Kangana called it a reaction to Mandana’s action. Entering as competitors, Mandana and Azma have been competing with each other. Whether they embrace each other’s presence or continue playing their game, is something that time will tell.
