Lock Upp: Karanvir Bohra confirmed as the fifth contestant on Kangana Ranaut-hosted reality show

Much-loved Television actor Karanvir Bohra has been confirmed as the fifth contestant on Kangana Ranaut-hosted reality show, Lock Upp. He will be joining Nisha Rawal, Munawar Faruqui, Poonam Pandey, Babita Phogat and 11 other contestants on the show. The actor is not new to the reality show scenario or the concept of being under 24x7 surveillance since he has already been a part of Bigg Boss, both as a guest and as a contestant.

The makers (MX Player and AltBalaji) released a video in which they confirmed Karanvir is inmate number 5. He has been charged with ‘stealing the limelight’.

Constantly making headlines, Karanvir shifted his focus to his family since the COVID-19 wave in 2020. He last made headlines since his and wife Teejay Sidhu’s twin daughters are coming out with their own short film called ‘My Pink Shoes’.

Karanvir was closely associated with reality shows since 2008, when he participated in Nach Baliye 4. He has then been a part of shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss. The actor was also seen in Ace Of Space 2 as a guest.

He appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss 10 and Bigg Boss 11. Karanvir finally participated in Bigg Boss 12 as a full-time contestant. He was under 24x7 surveillance cameras at that point in time, which makes Lock Upp easier for him.

Lock Upp is a reality TV show that will be available to the viewers 24x7. Kangana Ranaut is hosting the show while Ekta Kapoor is producing it.

According to the makers’ statement, Kangana will be controlling majority of the contestants’ behaviour and actions. She is given the responsibility of handling the prison.

The reality show will start streaming from February 27. It will be available live on AltBalaji as well as MX Player.
