Lock Upp: Nisha Rawal confirmed as the first contestant on Kangana Ranaut’s show

Nisha Rawal has been confirmed as the first contestant for Kangana Ranaut-hosted show Lock Upp. The makers released a video with the Television actress to confirm the news. She is tagged as ‘inmate number 1’.

In the video, Nisha is seen in an orange-coloured jumpsuit, which is the dress code in prison. She has been charged for starting ‘controversial fights’.

Nisha Rawal has been making headlines since 2021. She started a controversy by accusing her husband Karan Mehra of extra-marital affairs and domestic violence.

Nisha had even shared images of her bruised head on social media, which started a whole debate on how common domestic violence is in Indian societies. The actress had even called a press conference where she showed her bruises and accused Karan of hurting her.

The actress, who is now the first contestant on Lock Upp, had filed a police complaint against her ex-husband. The couple was blessed with a child called Kavish.

While Nisha has been finalized as the first contestant for Ekta Kapoor-produced show, the other contestants are also going to be announced soon. Nisha will be among those who will spend 27 days locked up in one place. She will be under Kangana’s control and command.

Lock Upp is a reality show hosted by Kangana where she will make major decisions for the contestants/inmates. The show will start streaming on AltBalaji and MX Player from February 27. It will be available for streaming 24x7.
