Payal Rohatgi has made a huge revelation on Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp. The actress, who is currently one of the strongest kaidis in the jail, revealed that there was a time when she battled alcoholism and was suicidal. This was soon after she got out of Bigg Boss 2.

Payal made the big revelation during her secret task. She shared that it was one of the lowest phases of her life and she did not see any scope of saving herself.

The actress revealed that she turned to alcohol after her eviction from Bigg Boss 2. Payal did that because of the tags that had been put on her. While she did go viral, it was for the wrong reasons.

Payal also revealed that she was suicidal back then, mainly because she was staying alone. The actress decided to leave her old life behind when she went into rehab. She also promised herself to never go and be friends with fake people when she finds true love, which she did in wrestler Sangram Singh.

The Lock Upp contestant was tagged as a vamp and sidepiece after her love angle on Bigg Boss 2. For the uninitiated, Payal’s swimming pool moment with Rahul Mahajan made quite the news when the show released and even years later, the photo makes rounds of the internet.

Rahul, like Payal mentioned, maintained his casanova image even inside the house. Despite him making headlines with Payal, Rahul went on to woo Pooja Bedi.

Apart from her viral image with Rahul, Payal also made headlines because of her hot-and-cold equation with co-contestant Sambhavna Seth. It is how and why she got the negative image.

Payal then revealed that because she was tagged as a vamp after the show, that she has a problem with the word. The actress has been hearing the word once again on Lock Upp, ever since she entered the show. Payal behaved like a villain, a vamp, if you must and soon, she was labelled just that.
