Lock Upp: Sangram Singh confirms he will marry Payal Rohatgi in July around his birthday

Wrestler Sangram Singh has revealed that he and Lock Upp contestant Payal Rohatgi are in fact getting married this year. Payal was seen extremely upset about her delayed wedding on Kangana Ranaut’s show recently. After that, Sangram confirmed that the two do have plans to tie the knot.

Sangram and Payal have been in a relationship for 12 years but they aren’t married yet. Upset with that, Payal broke into tears on Lock Upp. Soon after that, Sangram confirmed that he will marry her in July this year. Moreso, the wrestler promises to wed her around his birthday.

Sangram in fact revealed that he was going to marry Payal in March this year. However, since she is in Lock Upp and he also has work commitments, thus they shifted the wedding to July.

Karanvir Bohra had a major fight with Payal on Lock Upp. During the argument, he ended up calling her future husband ‘joru ka ghulaam.’ The actor did later clarify that it was unintentional but Payal was really hurt with his statement.

She then revealed that Sangram’s parents have a problem with her which is why the wedding has been delayed since 12 years. Currently, Sangram and Poonam are engaged.

After understanding that Payal got triggered by his ‘joru ka ghulaam’ statement, Karanvir apologized to an inconsolable Payal. Before his entry, she kept on saying that she does want to get married to Sangram but they have been facing a lot of obstacles so she does not want more of that.

While apologizing, Karanvir also happened to say that he will dance at Payal and Sangram’s wedding. He also appealed to the latter to marry Payal since she is actually a good girl and he too is very fond of her as a person.

After his appeal, Babita Phogat had declared that Sangram and Payal will get married in Lock Upp. Hearing that, Karanvir, Payal and Ali Merchant gave an epic reaction. For the uninitiated, Ali also got married on a reality show – Bigg Boss 4. He tied the knot with Sara Khan, who is also a contestant on Lock Upp. While Ali is upset because he had to switch careers after the incident, Sara is frustrated because she has to deal with the tag all her life.
