Lock Upp: ‘We aren’t like MunJali,’ says Sangram Singh when Payal Rohatgi reaffirms if wrestler is sure about their wedding

Sangram Singh proposed Payal Rohatgi on Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp. He has assured Payal that the two are actually getting married for real. When she asked him again, Sangram said that they ‘aren’t like MunJali’.

“Hum MunJali thodi na hai?,” Sangram questioned when Payal asked the wrestler if he is sure if he wants to marry her. Payal has revealed that she has faced many issues with trying to get married to Sangram and thus, they are engaged for 12 years and still not married. However, this time Sangram has confirmed that their wedding is on.

Payal asked Sangram to marry her. He instantly agreed and said that they aren’t MunJali (who are just for the show) and what they have is real. For the uninitiated, MunJali is a trend that started after Munawar Faruqui and Anjali Arora became close friends.

Their fans started the hashtag in hopes that MunJali actually become a couple. Host Kangana Ranaut has also stated that she doesn’t have a problem if they are a couple or even want to get married on the show because Lock Upp is open to everything.

While first proposing marriage to Payal, Sangram said that there isn't a more loyal and better girl than Payal for him. He also said that he doesn't want to leave a dhakkad, independent and strong girl like Payal and wants to lock in with her for their whole life.

Recently, Prince Narula asked Munawar and Anjali to end MunJali after the show. This happened after the two held hands. However, Munawar and Anjali both ensured that they are just friends.

Munawar and Anjali were constantly called out because they have partners outside Lock Upp but have been getting close to each other on the show. While they maintained that it was friendship, Anjali was heard telling Munawar that she loves him but he never responded back. At this point though, she has retracted her statement and even refuses to accept proposing.
