Lockdown glimpse: Watch a tensed Anupama Parameswaran in search of her father

It has already been announced that actor Anupama Parameswaran will be doing a Tamil film titled Lockdown for the prestigious production banner Lyca Productions. The makers on Sunday dropped a glimpse of the film, which will be releasing in June. However, a release date is yet to be announced.

Lockdown glimpse out

The makers of Lockdown, the upcoming Tamil film starring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role, released a glimpse of the film. The team had announced the Lockdown will have a June release. However, an exact date is yet to be revealed.

The 40-second glimpse begins with a ring tone and we see Anupama trying to reach out to her father via phone. We are shown various glimpses of Anupama in distress as someone calls Anitha.

Anupama plays the lead role in Lockdown. Apart from her, the film also features actors Charlie, Nirosha, Priya Venkat, Livingston, Indhumathi, Rajkumar, Shamji, Lollu Saba Maran, Vinayak Raj, Vidhu, Abhirami, Ravathi, Sanjivie, Priya Ganesh, Asha, and others.

The film is directed by AR Jeeva and has music composed by NR Raghunanthan and Siddharth Vipin. The film is shot by cinematographer KA Sakthivel and VJ Sabu Joseph has edited Lockdown. The Anupama-starrer is backed by Lyca Productions.

Anupama Parameswaran, who has appeared in films like Premam, Tillu Square, and Karthikeya 2, predominantly works in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She was last seen in the Telugu comedy drama Tillu Square. The actor was seen in Tamil in Jayam Ravi-starrer Siren, playing a supporting role.

The actor has an upcoming film titled Paradha in Telugu directed by filmmaker Praveen Kandregula and featuring actors Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha Krish in pivotal roles. In Tamil, Anupama will play the female lead in Mari Selvaraj’s film titled Bison, co-starring Dhruv Vikram. The sports drama will focus on the life of a Kabbadi player. A release date is yet to be announced.
