Babil Khan might be making headlines for Logout but the actor is nothing like his character in real life. He has revealed that his father, late actor Irrfan, did not allow him entry into the digital world till he turned 20. Babil made some startling revelations, including confirming his next film, in a recent interview. Here's everything he said...
He could play a social media addict in Logout but in real life, Babil did not even have access to a phone till he turned 20. The actor spilled so in an interview with Filmibeat, while sharing that he had a dabba phone till almost recently. "I was first raised in a place very close to a forest, and then in Madh Island. I went to a school called Tridha-an alternative school where no plastic is allowed, and everything is wooden," he recalled, hinting that his parents wanted him close to nature rather than the digital world.
During the same interview, Babil confirmed his next project. The actor will now be seen in a romantic show. He did hint at being in a relationship while confirming so by stating, "My secrets are not on my phone. My secrets are on my heart...If my heart is stolen, which usually is..." Babil then went on to express how he wants to do a romantic-comedy, only to confirm that he actually is working on one.
Another reason why Babil is hogging the limelight is because he was accused of using his father aka Piku actor Irrfan Khan's death to advance his acting career. During his interview with Lallantop, the actor spoke on the topic and said, "If that were true, I wouldn’t be going to auditions today. I was simply sharing the love because everyone showed us so much love and support."
Babil Khan made his OTT debut with Qala. He came to notice for being the 'sweetest boy on the block,' which gen z calls pookie, before Logout happened. Now, the actor is back in limelight for his acting skills.
