Lokah Chapter 1 box office collection day 17: Kalyani Priyadarshan’s latest Malayalam film continues to perform well even in its third week. Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra has collected a total of Rs 225 crore in worldwide collections, closing in the gap between Thudarum, which has earned a total of Rs 235.38 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. If Lokah earns more than Rs 10 crore in the coming days, it will become the third-highest-grossing Malayalam film, beating Mohanlal's thriller film Thudarum.

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is a 2025 Malayalam film, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role of a superhero. The film made Rs 6.3 crore on day 17 (third Sunday at ticket window) in India net collection, taking the overall collection to Rs 225 crore. This puts the film just Rs 10 crore behind the current third highest grosser of Thudarum, which has a total worldwide collection of Rs 235.38 crore.

The highest-grossing Malayalam film is L2 Empuraan, which made Rs 266.81 crore, as per Sacnilk. The Mohanlal-starrer is followed by Manjummel Boys, which has a collection of Rs 240.5 crore. The film stars Soubin Shahir and Sreenath Bhasi, along with Chandu Salimkumar who is also part of Lokah.

Considering that the positive word of mouth for Lokah is growing even in its third day, the Dominic Arun directorial looks poised to have a super Sunday at the box office. The film also does not face any competition as there are no major Malayalam releases scheduled for the coming week.

The India net collection of Lokah stands at Rs 112.05 crore. Also starring Naslen, the Malayalam film is also having a good run at Tamil box office with Rs 10.3 crore and Telugu box office with Rs 12.6 crore collection.
