Lokesh Kanagaraj finally reveals a picture of Suriya with Vikram team

Until last weekend, speculations were rife that Suriya was part of Kamal Haasan's upcoming Vikram. Though the buzz was that the actor had made a cameo appearance in the film, it was not confirmed by the makers. 

Lokesh Kanagaraj finally revealed the same on the audio and trailer launch event of the film, much to the delight of fans. And last evening, the director finally shared a picture of Suriya with Vikram team. He captioned it, "More than Happy to welcome @Suriya_offlSir 🤗 Into the World of #Vikram 🔥@ikamalhaasan @RKFI #VikramFromJune3 (sic). " The trailer also gives a sneak peek of Suriya's scene in the film and since then, fans of the actor are going ga-ga over the same. 

Vikram is billed as an action thriller. Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil will be sharing the screen space with Kamal Haasan in it. The rest of the star cast includes Antony Verghese, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Arjun Das, Gayathrie Shankar, Shanvi Srivastava,Shivani Narayanan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sampath Ram and Hareesh Peradi. Cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan and editing is by Philomin Raj.

Vikram marks Anirudh's second collaboration with Kamal Haasan after Indian 2, and second with Lokesh Kanagaraj after Master. The song Pathala Pathala, written and sung by Kamal Haasan, has already become one of the most viewed songs on YouTube.

This is Fahadh's third film in Tamil after Velaikkaran and Super Deluxe. The film is all set to hit screens on June 3 and the digital rights of the film have been snapped by Disney + Hotstar. 

In the meantime, the makers also revealed the title for the Hindi version of the film as Vikram Hitlist. The trailer for the Hindi version was launched as well. Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil have dubbed for their portions in the Hindi version as well.
