Lokesh Kanagaraj shares a BTS video of Kamal Haasan from Vikram set

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, today shared a BTS video of Kamal Haasan doing pushups on the set of Vikram. The director had shared a teaser of the video yesterday and assured his fans that he will be sharing the complete video today. Keeping his promise, Lokesh shared the video on his social media handle and wrote, "@ikamalhaasan sir's video as promised.. He did 26..i missed recording the initial two.. The eagle has landed🔥 #Vikram (sic)."

The director, who calls himself a huge fan of the Ulaganayagan, had stated earlier that he was awestruck by the dedication Kamal Haasan showed towards his work. Lokesh, who had turned emotional after the release of the film and the overwhelming response towards it, had even penned a letter that it was a great opportunity to direct Kamal Haasan and called Vikram a gift from a fanboy. Lokesh also got to double up as Kamal Haasan's makeup man in the film. 

Adding that he will cherish the memories of working in the film forever, said that the team had shed their blood and sweat to make the film to entertain the audience and to celebrate the pride of the nation, Kamal Haasan. 

During the success meet of Vikram held in Chennai, Lokesh Kanagaraj had stated that the biggest factor for the film's success was Kamal Haasan himself. Kamal Haasan, however, stated that it was the effort of the entire team that made the film, a success.

Vikram features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, and Suriya. The rest of the star cast in the action thriller include Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Arjun Das, Gayathrie Shankar, Chemban Vinod Jose, to name a few. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. The film is all set to stream on OTT from July 8.
