Loki 2 promo: Tom Hiddleston promises ‘utter destruction’

A new promo from Loki season 2 is unveiled and the lead actor Tom Hiddleston promises ‘utter destruction.’ Towards the end of the video, he is seen talking about the event. “There’s nothing to stand between this world and utter destruction,” he promises by the end of the 16 second clip.

Time travel

Loki is almost skilled (not quite though) at time travel by now. He has been forcibly been pulled into the past and back in the present at random moments. This decides not only his fate but also the destiny for everyone and everything around him.

Other appearances in the promo

Apart from Loki, one can also see Sylvie in the promo. She is seen wielding the sword. Miss Minutes also makes an appearance. She does what she’s best at – scaring people. Victor Timely is also seen in a miss-and-blink.

New and old cast in season 2

While more or less, the cast from season 1 continues their role in season 2, there is a specific new entry on the show. It comes in the form of The Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’s Jonathan Majors. He is likely to be the antagonist on the show.

The actors reappearing are – Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Eugene Cordero as Casey / Hunter K-5E, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Majors as Victor Timely, and Ke Huy Quan as Ouroboros "OB.” Kate Dickie, Liz Carr and Neil Ellice are also a part of the show this time around.

Loki season 2 will stream on Disney+Hotstar in India. It will be available from October 5.
