The biggest question in the minds of fans across the globe is how Loki manages to hold the castle so well when the MCU around it is having a tough time holding the ground. Loki Season 2 finale aired this morning, and everything about it has been appreciated by the majority of the viewers who have loved the show and continue to give us the content we needed, and Tom Hiddleston the screen time he deserved. The entire episode was filled with big moments.

He Who Remains Is Back….From Death!

We first thought to keep this one for the last, but then nothing in the world of Loki goes as planned. Remember when Sylvie killed He Who Remains (a Kang Variant played by Jonathan Majors) in the finale of the first season, and his last words were “See you soon”? Well, it all makes sense because as Loki time slips, he goes back to the point where Sylvie is about to kill He Who Remains, and the variant reveals that getting killed was always a part of the plan, and he knew Loki would return. This leads to a sacrifice, but about that later.

Loki Is Now The God Of Time

Loki’s entire existence has come a full circle in the Disney+ series. His obsession with the throne is what led to the earlier chaos in the MCU, but he never got to sit on one. It was the moment he decided to abandon that ambition is when a throne followed him. In the finale, Loki grabs every timeline and takes them all to the Citadel at the end of time. Once united, the timelines take the shape of Yggdrasil, and that leads to Loki taking the throne at the end of time. 

Kang Variants Popping Across The Multiverse

While dealing with He Who Remains, and with Victor Timely around, Morbius realizes that there is a Kang variant on Earth-616. Yes, they are indeed talking about Kang The Conqueror, who fought Ant-Man in Ant-Man And The Wasp Quantumania . By the end of the scene, while talking to Hunter B 15, he says Conqueror isn’t a problem anymore as Ant-Man has handled it. 

Loki Sacrifices Himself

Let’s move back to the first moment in the list. Loki has time slipped to the moment Sylvie is about to kill He Who Remains, and that needs to stop. The options are to kill Sylvie so she doesn’t kill He Who Remains, or watch everything collapse all over again. Loki chooses a middle option and one that means death. He opens the gates to Time Loom and starts walking. You must witness what happens next yourself. 

Morbius Finally Meets His Real Self

The entire crux of Morbius this season was about finding who he is and what is his story. His arc ends with him telling Hunter B 15 that he is taking a break from TVA and wants to connect with his human origin again. While that is not easy, there is always an option to return. But then, he at least knows the reality now.
