Loki season 2 new promo: Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino are out on a multiverse adventure

Loki season 2 is the highly anticipated MCU series this year. After the thrilling official trailer video , the makers have now dropped a new promo and announced the release date of the show. The Michael Waldron creation stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino in pivotal roles.

The latest promo video sees the God of mischief getting pulled into different universes. Post that, he along with his pals Sylvie and Mobius seeks other Lokis in different universes to execute something big against Kang. Makers dropped the new clip by quoting, "The past. The present. The future. (sic)" in the caption.

Plot of the show

The spinoff show of The Avenger film series follows the after-events of Endgame and witnesses Loki mysteriously brought to TVA aka Time Variance Authority with an aim to fix the timeline by stopping multiple crimes and threats that the demigod himself created in alternate universes.

Cast and makers

Along with Hiddleston, Wilson and Martino, the Michael Waldron-created MCU series also features Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Sasha Lane, Jack Veal, DeObia Oparei, Richard E. Grant and Jonathan Majors in key roles. Written and directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the second instalment of Loki is bankrolled by Marvel Studios with a budget of $141 million.

Release date

Based on Marvel Comics, Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2 is set to release on Disney Plus Hotstar on October 6.
