Headlined by Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino and Owen Wilson, the web series Loki is soon turning out to be a fan favourite. Marvel Studios, which has been releasing a continuous stream of snippets from the show, dropped another featurette on Wednesday titled Meet Sylvie.

Aptly titled, the new featurette shed light on Sylvie, the variant character of Loki and how Sophie Di Martino made the role her own. It also gave us a glimpse of what we can expect in the future episodes as both Loki and Sylvie’s destinies hang in a perilous balance as seen on the last episode.

There were also a couple of scenes from the previous episode where Loki and Sylvie had called a temporary truce and had talked about their pasts. We also get a blink-and-miss look at Sylvie as a child, who was brought to the Time Variant Authority’s headquarters.

“It was really helpful to listen to Tom talking about the mischief because she’s another version of Loki, but it was important to make sure she was unique,” Sophia Di Martino says in the featurette.

Also, the subtle and intimate manner in which Loki and Sylvie’s bisexuality was depicted in the latest episode, as the two Lokis got to know each other was a refreshing sequence. Kate Herron, the show's director, took to Twitter to announce the canon saying, “It is a part of who he is and who I am too.”
