Music videos are turning out to be commonplace in the careers of Telugu film actors, who see it as an opportunity to stay connected with their fans and audiences beyond their films. After Keerthy Suresh, Satyadev and Tamannaah, it's now the turn of actor Sudhakar Komakula (Life is Beautiful, Krack) to star in a music video titled Lollipop. The music video, to release in five languages - Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, also brings together 30 weds 21 actress Ananya Sharma, Jai Jasti and Meghana Sunil.
After releasing the list of various singers, lyricists and the team associated with Lollipop, the makers unveiled a new glimpse into the music video on Sunday. The sneakpeek of the Telugu version of Lollipop, sung by Sid Sriram, creates a nostalgic vibe with its visuals. In the initial frames of the glimpse, you see Sudhakar Komakula and Ananya looking at one another and smiling through the window of an old car on a rainy day.
The later part of Lollipop, featuring Jai Jasti, Meghana Sunil hints at a teenage romance where the girl appears shy and is blushing while thinking about the man of her dreams. The boy too returns a smile shortly. 'Modati Saari..Modati Saari..Premagaali thaakutundile..Emi Raagam..Emi Thaalam..Teliyadaaye Ayyo papam...Kaluvalanti Kanulalona..,' the Telugu version of the song lyricised by Suresh Banisetti takes off on a melodious note.
The entire song has been shot in Vizag, incidentally the home town of actor Sudhakar Komakula too. The other versions of Lollipop are sung by Javed Ali, Sonu Nigam, Ravi G, KS Harisankar in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam respectively. Lyricists Raqeeb Alam, Tamilmani, Vinayak Sasikumar, Santosh Naik are associated with the video across other languages beyond Telugu. Choreographed by Bhanu master, S Krishna has written the story and produced the music video under Image Spark Entertainments.
