Looking forward to working with Akshay sir, Emraan sir and Diana: Nushrratt Bharuccha kickstart's Selfiee shoot

Nushrratt Bharuccha is busy with back to back projects and is excited to be working non-stop. The actress, recently wrapped the shoot of Ram Setu with Akshay Kumar and now she's back to start filming Selfiee with him. The Chhorii actress who has kickstarted shooting for Selfiee in Bhopal from Thursday, received a warm welcome from Karan Johar's production house.

The actress took to her Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of the welcome note and a special hamper that she received from Dharma Productions.

Talking about kicking off the shoot, Nushrratt said in a statement, "I am super excited to be a part of the Selfiee cast and looking forward to be working on one more film with Akshay sir.. And that too right after Ram Setu, which makes it even more special!"

Apart from Nushrratt and Akshay, Selfiee also stars Emraan Hashmi and Diana Penty in significant roles. The actress added that she has enjoyed watching their films and is excited and looking forward to working with both of them. 

Selfiee also reunites Nushrratt with her Ajeeb Daastans directed Raj A Mehta, who will be helming this film as well. Speaking about her reunion with him, the actress said that he is one crazy, fun director. She feels that with him and Akshay Kumar on the sets, it's going to be a laughter riot all along. "Selfiee is going to be one mad, fun ride," she was quoted as saying in the statement. 

Nushrratt was seen in a number of OTT releases during the pandemic like Chhalaang, Ajeeb Daastaans and Chhorii. The actress will also be seen in her upcoming film titled Hurdang with Sunny Kaushal. The trailer of Hurdang was recently unveiled and has been well received by the fans. Apart from Ram Setu and Selfiee, the actress also has Janhit Mein Jaari in her kitty.
