Ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has secured an A-list cast including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal for his upcoming film Love and War. The filming has already begun in Mumbai. Now, a report mentioned that the trio, Alia, Ranbir, and Vicky, have started filming together for the first time for an intense sequence.

A source close to the production revealed that Love & War lead cast, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, have begun shooting together for the first time for an intense sequence. The source mentioned that a major schedule began this week with the three leads. 

"While Sanjay Sir kicked off the project last October, this is the first time that Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky are shooting together. It will be an intense few days of filming, with the director crafting some of the most emotionally demanding scenes in this leg," it added.

Ranbir Kapoor on Love & War

During a meet and greet with the media personnel in Mumbai, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about Love & War and working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He said that Love and War is something which is every actor’s dream, and to work with brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky, and to be directed by the master, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. 

"I worked with him 17 years ago (his debut film, Saawariya). To work with him again, I can say this with so much of clarity that I haven’t met a human being who works so hard, who understands characters, emotions, music, Indian culture, Indian value system, as much as Sanjay Leela Bhansali."

Ranbir also said that the process can be a little daunting, but eventually, as an artist, it is so satisfying, as the filmmaker nurtures art.

Earlier, while talking about Love and War, SLB told The Hollywood Reporter India that unlike other films of its time, Love & War is truly unique. As per him, the film is modern, devoid of pillars, costumes, and horses. The music is unique, and the filmmaker is having fun with it.
