Bobby Deol is seeking to expand his horizons as an actor with his upcoming thriller, Love Story. The film sees Deol essay the role of an antagonist and to say that the actor is excited about it seems to be an understatement.

In a conversation with Indian Express, Deol opened up about his role in the upcoming film, talking about how thrilled he was to play a character who was unlike one he had ever portrayed before. Deol also talked about how his character of Dagar was not one he was able to play easily, calling the character someone who turns a ‘fairytale into a nightmare’.

The seasoned actor also opened up about his acting process and how he tries to do justice to his parts to the best he could. The script played an important role in this, he said, and he would keep on reading the same until he started feeling the lines and started to live them. He also calls himself a ‘spontaneous’ actor, talking about how he would also try to get a ‘feel’ of his role and take it on to the screen.

Deol also had nothing but good things to say of his Love Hostel co-stars Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra, calling them ‘amazing’ and ‘natural’. The star also talked about the important role, OTT platforms play in giving actors more opportunities to showcase their talents. The star also opened up about how happy he felt that audiences are fully accepting his new career trajectory.

Directed by Shanker Raman and produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Drishyam Films, Love Hostel will be available to stream on ZEE5 from February 25, 2022.
