We had earlier reported that actor and director Pradeep Ranganathan will be starring in a Tamil film titled Love Insurance Kompany. The film is written and directed by filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. On the occasion of Vinayakar Chaturthi on Wednesday, the makers of Love Insurance Kompany released the 'First Punch'. It offers a glimpse into the world of the romantic drama.

Love Insurance Kompany is an upcoming Tamil film which stars actor and director Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role. The film, which was announced sometime back, is in the news after the 'First Punch' glimpse landed on Wednesday.
The first glimpse shows the world set ahead in the futuristic times, as a robot addresses the press, saying that there is a man in search of something that does not exist anymore. The voiceover is by Anirudh Ravichander, as we are introduced to Pradeep Ranganathan, who is in search of love at first sight. Then, we see him meeting Krithi Shetty, and as sparks fly between them, the pair falls in love. The glimpse shows how the romance between them takes shape until the villain enters, played by SJ Suryah.

Love Insurance Kompany makers have announced its release date as October 17, for the occasion of Diwali. Coincidentally, Pradeep's another film Dude is also set for Diwali release.
The cast of Love Insurnace Kompany includes SJ Suryah, Krithi Shetty, Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri Kishan, Shah Rah, Malavika and others. Written and directed by Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara is on board as one of the producers. The technical crew includes music by Anirudh Ravichander, while the film is shot by Ravi Varman. It is edited by Pradeep E Ragav and Vignesh Shivan has doubled up as the lyricist.
