Disney+ Hotstar has quietly revealed several upcoming shows that will debut this week on Valentine's Day, specifically February 14, 2025. Comedian Zakir Khan hosts Love Life Lafde, where guests examine the challenges of modern relationships in an entertaining and light-hearted way.

The 30-second promo shared by the streaming service features the ace comedian interviewing duos including Tanmay Bhat-Barkha Singh and Biswa Kalyan Rath-Maanvi Gagroo, with other celebrities such as Farah Khan, Kunder, Siddharth, Parul Gulati, Zareen Khan, Kumar Varun, and Aaditya Kulshreshth, to name a few.

Zakir Khan's take on modern relationships

Meanwhile, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Zakir mulled about the dynamic nature of relationships, particularly in light of the rise of modern dating jargon and online dating services.

He claimed that he is well-versed in the jargon of modern romantic relationships. These are ideas that are significant for the present, but they will change throughout time. Whether you meet someone on a terrace, Facebook, or Tinder, love is the same. Nothing can ever take the place of love...

"Love is timeless"

Even now, you still get chills whenever a loved one touches you. A flutter goes through your gut every time they glance in your direction. Feelings like these endure forever. No matter what happens in the next hundred years, they will still be around. Love transcends all boundaries, regardless of a person's location, language, or diet. According to Zakir, love is everlasting and the ultimate truth.

Throughout his art, he expresses his thoughts about love. He jokes, "Who wants to date via dating apps?" and even comments on the psychology of internet dating. What motivates them to do it in the end? They desire a genuine encounter. Everyone wishes they could just run into someone, meet up by chance, etc. The initial meeting seems to have taken centre stage; why?

In response to a question about his interest in online dating, Zakir quickly clarified that he is not on any dating apps. People have created several profiles in his name.
