In this week’s OTT release, Tamil film Love Marriage is available for streaming on Prime Video. After its theatrical run, the romantic family drama has debuted on OTT. Headlined by Vikram Prabhu and directed by Shanmuga Priyan in his debut, the film is a remake of the Telugu film Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam.
Love Marriage is a mix of family drama and romance, and is set during the Covid pandemic lockdown. The film follows the protagonist, a man who is in his 30s and in dire search of a bride. When his family zeroes on one such bride, the lockdown forces his family to stay at the bride’s place, who has been exhibiting a strange behaviour before the wedding. The film has elements of comedy, romance, and drama.
Apart from Vikram Prabhu, the cast of Love Marriage includes Sushmitha Bhat, Meenakshi Dinesh, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Gajaraj, Muruganantham, and Kodangi Vadivelu, among others. Veteran actor Sathyaraj makes a cameo appearance in the film. Directed by debutant Shanmuga Priyan, the music is scored by Sean Roldan and Madhan Christopher handling cinematography. Bharath Vikraman is the editor, and M. Murali is the production designer.
